Ask, And You Shall Receive
ASK, AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE Last week I waxed poetic in regards to the Writers Digest Conference and other related events. One of the things I love about stay events is not that I get a chance to stand up there and spout off, or be spouted off to, but as a result of I get a chance to interact with attendees and different speakers. I get to ask and answer questions. Not long after saying this in just about the same way to the group at WDCW, I began serious about the one-means nature of Fantasy Authorâs Handbook and all the responses Iâve gotten to tweets about my ongoing courses at Bellevue Collegeâ"a bunch of people tell me theyâd love to take the class however stay in some metropolis (or country) too distant from the Seattle area. I wish to go to as many of those conferences as I can and shall be redoubling my efforts to get out to more of the nation within the yr ahead, however who says a blog like Fantasy Authorâs Handbook must be a one-means conversation or monologue? Today I premiere the latest we b page on Fantasy Authorâs Handbook: ASK PHIL. Got a query about writing fantasy, science fiction, or horror; or writing, editing, and publishing generally? Go over to ASK PHIL and go away a comment. Iâll respond in the feedback section so everybody can be part of the dialog. Your question not only might, however in all probability will encourage a publish or two as properly. Whatâs in your thoughts? Whatâs holding you up? What are you fighting? And what tips do you have for all of us who may need hit a rock in the stream of our current work-in-progress? If you have questions on different subjects, find a weblog or website online that covers that. This is not going to be a kind of on-line âcommunitiesâ that descend into politics, faith, bullying, shameless self-promotion, evaluations, and so forth. I actually have political opinions, to be sure, and I assume you do, too. But it is a blog about WRITING (particularly SF, fantasy, and horror), so thatâll be what we talk a bout. Right? Now, go forward and ASK PHIL! â"Philip Athans About Philip Athans Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:
